COLLECTION NOTE

The Kentucky Folklife Program at Western Kentucky University partnered with Mammoth Cave National Park for a special 2015 summer-long, National Endowment for the Arts sponsored project titled “Folklorists in the Park”. The project was conducted by Josh Chrysler a former graduate student at Western Kentucky University. This collection consists of ethnographic interviews, oral histories and photographs. Topics include basket and quilt making, beekeeping, and hunting. Also includes interviews with various artists from the Mammoth Cave region about their work. The digital video and audio interviews are stored in the Sound Archives; digital photos are stored in the Photo Archives.
